Danish floral artist Nicolai Bergmann is renowned for blending European floral design principles with Japanese attention to detail. Living in Japan, he owns four boutiques in Tokyo’s most fashionable shopping districts, where he also showcases Danish design alongside his floral arrangements.
As part of a collaboration between THINK and OeO, the task was to design a responsive website for a new jewellery collection. The challenge was to create a digital experience that resonates with the Japanese market’s admiration for Scandinavian simplicity.
The design presents jewellery on light backgrounds with delicate floral arrangements. A subtle scrolling effect sharpens the flowers, adding depth, while soft animations enhance fluidity. The still-life aesthetic emphasizes texture, shadows, and organic elements, maintaining a clean and airy feel. The result is a refined digital experience that seamlessly blends nature, craftsmanship, and elegance—true to Nicolai Bergmann’s artistic vision.
